To Log into Online Banking:

  1. Visit: www.michiganunitedcu.org
  2. Select “ONLINE BANKING LOGIN” button at the top of the site
  3. Enter your USERNAME (Your New Account Number – See chart below)
  4. Enter your PASSWORD (Enter the last 4 digits of the primary member’s Social Security Number. You will then be prompted to set a new password and select security questions & answers

New Account Number

On March 1, 2022 most members’ account numbers will change to an expanded 500,000,000 series structure. Example: If your current account number is 1234, your new account number will be 9-digits in length: 500001234

Some members have 9-digit account numbers that begin with either a ‘4’ or ‘5’.
If your 9-digit account number begins with a number ‘5’, your account number will remain the same.

Frequently Asked Questions:

A: All account numbers will change to an expanded 500,000,000 series structure. This means all account numbers will be 9 digits in length. For example: if your account number was 1234, your NEW account number will be 500001234. If your current account number is currently 9 digits long and begins with the number ‘5’, your account number will remain the same. If your current account number is currently 9 digits long and begins with a number ‘4’, only that first number (the ‘4’) will change to a number ‘5’.

A: Account suffixes will be updated on March 1, 2022. All automatic transfers set up with your Unity CU accounts will continue to post as scheduled; you will not need to reconfigure your account number information.

A: All recurring automatic transfers and ACH transactions will continue to post as previously scheduled—you don’t need to do anything.

A: Yes. If you currently have direct deposit of your payroll check, payroll deduction or direct deposit of pension or Social Security, it will automatically transfer to Michigan United Credit Union without any action by you.

A: You may use your current checks, however, when you are almost out of checks and it’s time to order more, you will want to use your NEW account number and the Michigan United CU Routing Number #272477199.

A: Michigan United Credit Union will continue to process all items associated with the Unity CU routing number for the foreseeable future.

A: Yes, your Unity debit card will still function as normal. However, Monday, February 28th funds available will be limited. Using your signature the limit is $300 per day, and using your PIN the limit is $110 per day.

A: Absolutely! Access Online Banking through www.michiganunitedcu.org The first time you log into your online banking account after the conversion on March 1, 2022, you will need to complete the following:
1) USERNAME: Enter your NEW account number ie) 500001234
2) PASSWORD: Enter the last 4 digits of the primary member’s Social Security Number. You will then be prompted to set a new password and select security questions and answers.
NOTE: It’sMe247 Online Banking will be unavailable for a brief period while the system upgrade is in progress. Access is expected to be restored some time on March 1st at which time your fully-integrated Michigan United Credit Union account will be available.

A: Yes, Michigan United CU has a mobile app. You may download it from the App Store or Google Play to improve on-the-go banking beginning March 1, 2022.

A: Yes, after downloading the mobile app, you will need to enroll in the mobile check deposit program.

A: No. Any loan terms and conditions prior to Aug.1, 2021 will remain the same.

A: Your current certificate rate will remain the same. We are offering additional options for certificates. For more information please visit
www.michiganunitedcu.org.

A: Yes, this free service is known as Bill Pay. If you have a checking account you are eligible to enroll in this service. When you log into online banking select “Pay & Transfer” then “Bill Pay.”

 

 

 A: Yes, this free service is known as CU*Talk telephone banking that is available 24/7 for balance and transaction inquiries, funds transfers and more. The new toll-free number is 855-286-5885. You will enter your NEW account number ie) 500001234 and your temporary PIN is the last four digits of the primary member’s Social Security Number.

A: This is a new service from the merger. When you enroll in text banking Online Banking (click the “Go Mobile” tab), you can receive balance inquiries and alerts, as well as perform balance transfers, using your smartphone or tablet.

A: This is another benefit of the merger. Co-op Shared Branching allows credit union members access to their accounts at branches of other participating credit unions. Search for Shared Branches by selecting the Co-Op Shared Branch Locator at:

A: Continue to make payments the same way you do now—by mail, online banking, or at any Branch.

A: Effective March 1, 2022 we will not be able to process payments for your credit card. Upon expiration, you will receive an Elan credit card. Call us for further details.
